Hello! My name is Benton Sauer and I am the creator of Sauerpuss and Friends. Way back in the 1995 I created Sauerpuss my creativity cat, inspired by my love of animals, especially cats. I created this character to help me teach children about creativity and creative arts. I began teaching in the late 1990’s children between the ages of 4 and 12 creative drawing. Over the years I developed and continued to refine my curriculum and when my children, Jacob and Emma, were of age I taught them as well. Always passionate about creativity and art, especially drawing, has been with me throughout my personal and professional life. Because I wanted to be able to reach more kids, I developed my course further and I am excited now to be able to offer Creativity with Pencils to kids everywhere!
